Offered for sale is a vintage Swiss Made Omega Seamaster De Ville men's dress watch with reference 165.020, dating back to 1967 based on its serial number. The watch features a slender solid 18k yellow gold unishell case which measures 34.5mm in diameter and is just under 11mm thick. The dial on this particular example comes in a stunning and desirable gold tone sunburst finish. Polished gold tone stick shaped hands indicate the time on gold tone indices with black accents. Inside the watch sits a renowned Omega 552 automatic movement, which is working perfectly. The watch comes on a generic black leather strap with ostrich look and generic gold plated buckle, ready to wear.
The example sold here has been worn, but is in good condition considering its age. You will find some wear marks on the case and lugs, but no overly coarse damage. The case has been cleaned thoroughly, but was left unpolished to maintain its original edges and curves. A brand new yet generic plexiglass crystal was fitted. The crown is original and signed with the Omega logo, albeit a bit worn. The dial and hands show slight signs of aging here and there, but are generally in wonderful condition still. The movement was freshly serviced, and is working perfectly.
