Up for sale is a lovely vintage Swiss Made Longines "La Grande Classique" Ladies' watch Ref. 4208, with a gold plated stainless steel case and brushed gold dial. The hour markers are displayed without numerals to keep the dial nice and sleek, and at 3'O Clock a date window is positioned. Inside, we find an automatic movement that is working accurately: a Cal. L561.1 mechanism with 25 jewels. This is a wonderful example of an iconic and collectible vintage Longines watch.
The watch has been serviced prior to sale. It comes fitted with a brand new blue leather strap, which goes together wonderfully with the blue gemstone in the crown.
The example sold here has been worn, but is still in gorgeous condition considering its age. There are slight wear marks on the case when closely examining the watch. The case is unpolished and therefore in original shape. Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is. We are sure that you like honesty, and so do we. Functionally, the watch has been serviced by an authorised Service Center prior to this sale, and is working perfectly.
The watch comes without any paperwork or original box, but evidently we will provide a generic box to ship it to the buyer safe and sound. The item ships from Belgium and will be securely packaged and dispatched using the local postal service (BPost).
