This incredibly beautiful ring will be available in our shop from this week. As you can see, the diamonds in the centre of this ring are no regular cut diamonds, they are old European cuts. This was one of the first techniques to cut a diamond. Back in the days they had no computers to cut each stone equally, therefore each stone cut in this period is unique, which makes this ring unique as well.
Around the centre filled with Old European cut diamonds, we see fifteen stunning rubies. As you can see, these rubies form a perfect circle around these clustered diamonds. All rubies used in this ring were specially cut for this particular ring. This circle of custom cut rubies is called a halo. It creates the effect that there is only one big diamond in the middle.
This ring made around 1920 is one of our favourites in our shop. It’s crafted out of 18k yellow gold and set around a plate of platinum which holds the eight centre diamonds. Thanks to these precious metals and beautiful gemstones, the colour scheme of this ring is just unbelievably powerful, therefore it’s a real eye-catcher.
